“Gambling”! Quite an interesting topic, wouldn’t you agree? It’s not something I’ve tried personally but it seems like many people have at least heard of the concept.

Maybe because gambling is well-known to be risky or dangerous so people avoid it for that reason alone.

But regardless if we are involved in betting games or just watch them on TV, most everyone enjoys the entertainment aspect that comes with winning and losing large sums of money while playing these types of games!

We enjoy watching “Risk” play out across our screens every week as contestants gamble away their prizes – even though they might end up going home empty handed too at times!

Now what do you think would happen if this type game were transferred over into anime form!

Have a question about the best anime?

Well, look no further because we are going to discuss “Kakegurui” in this article.

In Kakegurui, viewers will find an exciting series that has wide variety of games and is known worldwide for its nature.

It may be surprising but there only 2 seasons as far as Kageguri’s existence goes!

The first season was titled “Kakegurui” whereas the second is called Kakegurui××.

By the way, we are going to call “Kakegurui xXx”, Kageguri Season 2 in this article for sake of avoiding confusion.

The two seasons aired a while back and since then fans have been wondering about their next release date.

If you’re one of those lucky people who’ve watched both series, congrats!

You just clicked on all relevant articles because my main goal with this particular piece is to provide complete information regarding its third installment like title name & air-date etc., so let’s begin.

Everything We Know So Far About Kakegurui

Kakegurui is a 12 episode TV anime that aired back in 2017. It was based off of a manga series written by Kawamoto Homura and illustrated by Naomura Tooru, which began serialization on the webcomic site Ganma!

before being picked up for regular publication at Gangan Online from October 14th 2014 to December 11th 2018.

The first season started airing 1st July and finished its first season 23rd September during summer 2017, with Hayashi Yuuichirou as director who has given his work such as Dorohedoro and Attack On Titan Season 4.

I’m sure many of you have heard about MAPPA’s great anime like AOT and JJK. Well, I’ve got some trivia for you!

Kakegurui is the third most popular work by them just behind those two masterpieces!

Now let me tell you a little bit more about what this show will be all about.

The story takes place in Hyakkaou Private Academy where they do not focus on boring things such as math or history…

Instead, their curriculum revolves around gambling so that students are prepared to live out there lives in the real world.

A little trivia for you, Kakegurui is the third most popular work of MAPPA. You know what else is in their repertoire? Dororo and Jujutsu Kaisen!

Kakeguru tells a story set in Hyakkaou Private Academy where they teach “Gambling” as part of its curriculum since it gives students an opportunity to prepare for real world scenarios.

Learning life’s lessons from gambling, students hone their skills to become better leaders.

Being a great gambler requires you to have certain skills.

The protagonist of the book, Yumeko, is someone who possesses all these qualities and more – she’s also very risky in her game play.

This leads into the story where we explore how this girl takes risks while playing with other people that can potentially change one’s life around!

Official Announcements And Release Date Of Kakegurui Season 3

If an anime is going to get another season, we need to crosscheck if it has any official announcements or release dates being placed forward by the creators.

If there are then that’s great but if not then we have to speculate about possible future seasons.

Kakegurui was animated on Netflix and produced by MAPPA; however, no official statements regarding a second season of Kakegurui were released at this time.

Will Kakegurui have a third season? And if so, when will it come out? Let’s speculate here.

To begin with, no word from the director or producer either which means that we need to start speculating for our answer.

Speaking of canceled ,Kakegurui hasn’t been completely canceled either.

So let us take a look at all the important aspects individually and try to figure this one out together! Will there be another season?

More Source Material Information On Kakegurui Season 3

Kakegurui is adapted from a manga series of the same name. The original author, Kawamoto Homura and illustrator, Naomura Tooru have been responsible for other works such as Isekai Tenseisha Koroshi: Cheat Slayer and Legal Egg respectively.

The manga started publishing on March 22nd 2014 in Gangan Joker magazine which has yet to end its serialization with recognition being made towards drama, psychological shounen anime genre.

The manga has around 14 volumes and a total of 86 chapters; however, the anime only adapted 10 of them throughout two seasons.

If you want to read all of it like I do, then don’t bother waiting for another season because each volume is different from one episode in an entire season (1-5).

Each volume takes about 5 episodes on average which means that 55 chapters were already covered by both seasons if we assume there will be no more coming up – even though this isn’t true!

If the third season of Kakegurui were to happen, it would require around 5 volumes of manga be completed.

That’s right ladies and gentlemen, there isn’t enough source material for a 3rd anime adaptation because only 10 out 14 total volumes have been adapted!

The next season of the anime isn’t out yet because it lacks enough source material to create it. Rest easy now!

So now that we have a good understanding of the relationship between source material and anime, we can move forward.

Popularity Information Of Kakegurui Season 3

The possibility of a sequel increases significantly if their brand has high popularity.

This is why popular anime like Kakegurui are likely to get another part made after it!

Google Trend

Kakegurui google trends

Google trends are a great way to know if a series is constantly being in the discussion or not.

Let’s look at Kakegurui on Google Trends and see how it has been doing over time!

The results show that interest started increasing after December 2017, but then suddenly began decreasing by 2020 when season 3 will be released.

The Kakegurui franchise doesn’t look too good right now because it’s losing the attention of many viewers.

Though season 2 ended quite a while ago, there are still some fans who want to see more episodes added to the list!

There were talks about Kakegurui season 3 from the very beginning.

If we broaden our horizon and look before 2021, it can be sure that the anime was indeed in talks for a long time now.

Now let’s look at – Twitter!, a platform where anime fans hang out a lot.

Twitter

Kakegurui twitter

Twitter is a great platform for anime creators and fans because it gives them the chance to interact.

Many famous people use Twitter, including politicians, celebrities, and even anime characters! Kakegurui has been popular on this social media site as well.

The official Twitter account of Kakegurui only has around 47k followers.

This is not a positive number to look at, because anime like Bunny Girl Senpai or KonoSuba have over 200k and 100k respectively.

Overall, we can say that the popularity of Kakegurui on Twitter looks bleak right now.”

Search In US, UK

The number of people searching for Kakegurui Season 3 each month is roughly 60,000 with 37,000 searches coming from the United States and 6,000 varying across Great Britain.

While this may not be as mind-blowing as shows like One Punch Man or Konosuba getting a third season — it’s still enough to garner some attention especially when you consider that Vinland Saga had about 45k monthly searches yet was given another shot at life.

All in all these search numbers are pretty decent which can give us hope they’ll continue pushing through!

Expected Plot Of Kakegurui Season 3

Now, this is a rather complicated case here.

You see, even though it is based on manga, the anime adaptation has added a few differences – one of them being that Rei Batsubami isn’t in the story at all!

He’s actually an exclusive character for just the anime and thus gives rise to questions about whether or not Season 2 was supposed to be ‘the last season’.

Since the manga is still ongoing, there are many possibilities.

The anime might explore its characters more to provide a different type of narrative than what’s in the original story line.

Though it would be interesting if new characters were introduced that can’t be seen in the source material yet, this strategy isn’t likely because it’s much easier and favorable for adaptations to follow their respective stories closely with little deviation from them.

Fans on Twitter and Reddit are waiting with bated breath for Kakegurui Season 3 to release.

They’re hoping the new season will capture Yumeko’s character, her love of gambling more accurately than in previous seasons (season 1 & 2).

Fans also liked how some parts from the manga were used during last week’s episode 10; they can’t wait to see if that trend continues through out this next installment or whether it was a one-off thing.

Why Do We Want Kakegurui Season 3 So Badly?

What are school-based anime like Kakegurui really about?

Anime that use the high school setting usually end with graduation, since this is what normally happens in our world.

If an anime shows characters graduating from university or college instead of high school, then it means they will probably be showing us their future lives rather than focusing on their time at a particular educational institution.

For example: Oregairu ends its story by having all the students graduate and move on to different paths after being together for so long!

Anime such as Kakeguru have yet to show anything beyond becoming president of Hyakkaou Private Academy—the point where most people would consider “graduation” already happened three years.

Fans of Kakegurui, such as myself, want another season because the anime has received a lot of acclaim.

For example: “It’s smart and stylish to its core.” (Anime News Network), it is clear that this show will definitely be one for the books!

Fans are in love with the series because it has more female dynamics than male.

The story is engaging and can expand further, which makes fans crave for a sequel.

Many people are eagerly awaiting a third season of Kakegurui because the current story arc has not yet been resolved.

People who enjoy anime, such as myself, find it fascinating to see this crazy world through Yumeko’s eyes and how she navigates her way around every situation thrown at her without hesitation or fear for consequences.

Ratings And Reviews Won So Far By Kakegurui

Do you love Kakegurui? Well, here are the ratings!

Public opinion is important because it gives creators a general idea of how fans feel about their series.

These factors help us analyze thoughts people have on this anime and if they’re positive then that’s good news for everyone involved in its creation.

Many fans around the world have been asking for a third season.

Let’s take a look at what they’re saying about this on two of their biggest platforms, IMDb and MyAnimeList!

IMDb

IMDB rating kakegurui

An general overview of Kakegurui’s IMDb score

Starting our hypercomplex analysis, we have to look at IMDb and the ratings and reviews for Kakegurui on that platform.

The series has a solid 7.2/10 which isn’t as high as some other anime but not bad from a general standpoint- 72% is pretty good!

The series Kakegurui has received mixed reviews from audiences.

While many people love it, some are against the idea of an orgasmic gamble and feel that sexual references in this show should be toned down.

However, critics were more negative about the series with most being critical towards female dynamics portrayed as a double-edged sword while normal viewers have been more positive on watching their favorite characters develop throughout each episode.

So as you can see, the Kakegurui anime has been a bit controversial. Some love it and some hate it.

However, IMDb is mixed on their opinion of this series so let’s take a look at what MAL users have to say about this show!

MyAnimeList

MAL rating kakegurui

Anime fans on MyAnimeList are critical of the ratings and reviews.

The demographic is mostly young adults who watch anime in season, so each new installment would need to be better than last year’s if they want a second season.

Let’s look at the comments! “A lot of people love this show!” It looks like Kakegurui has been well-received by MAL users; maybe we’ll get more seasons after all? I hope you’re right because Season 1 was AMAZING.”

The first season of the Kakegurui franchise received another solid score on IMDb and anime fans over on MAL gave it a pretty high rating.

In fact, you might be surprised to know that this specific show has been added into more than 1 million MAL lists!

Kakegurui’s second season is a huge hit!

If we talk about reviews then they are kind of mixed like IMDb. We have positives from normal fans but criticisms by elitists.

However, if the creators show up on MAL, they have to ignore the elitist views and only focus on positive comments made by regular fans because Kakegurui’s 2nd Season has an impressive score of 7.24 with over 300000 people reviewing it positively in under 24 hours after release that goes to show that anime fandom likes this series more than popular kings such as Jujutsu Kaisen and Attack On Titan combined which also highlights how successful the new series was amongst viewers all around Japan for its strong storyline.

Despite the negative reviews, fans of Kakegurui are still intrigued by what happens next.

Conclusion

There you have it weebs, this is all that we know about Kakegurui Season 3!

As Kakegurui fans, we are always hoping for the best. We wish that there would be another season of this anime so much!

But sadly not enough people have watched it yet.
