If you are looking for a new anime to watch, I have the perfect list of top 50 best cyberpunk anime. Cyberpunk is an awesome genre because it takes place in the future and follows people who use high-tech gadgets to fight against crime or other enemies.

The stories can be really interesting if you’re into that kind of thing! This post has some great suggestions for what I think are the best cyberpunk anime series to watch right now.

Levius

The anime Levius is about a young boy named Levis who loses both of his parents to the war.

He grows up watching arena fights, where he learns that metal boxing helps him deal with this anger.

Now known as one of those “killing machines,” he becomes an arena fighter himself and uses these skills to recover from the extreme effects caused by war.

The 12-episode Netflix original was aired in 2019 and has 25 minutes per episode on average

They have no idea that there is a number of soldiers revolting against Black Ghost, but soon they will find out. 

An anime series named Cyborg 009 was released in 1979 with 25 minutes run time and it’s adaption from the manga Cyborg 009 by Shotaro Ishinomori which ran for 26 volumes between 1964 to 1981 .

Mobile suits have also become supremely widespread among all factions in this post-war world.

Garrod Ran is a young boy who will embark upon an adventure with Tifa Adiel, another scavenger group member that he has recently befriended.

30. Bubblegum Crisis: Best 80s Cyberpunk Anime

The anime is a tale of female heroes fighting against robots and putting their exoskeletons on display.

The title gives us a couple of ideas but let’s see if that is actually what it is. 

Woman’s power rise! The anime revolves around a group of female mercenaries who are armed with few special and unique abilities, power suits and are set in the year 2032.

It begins after an earthquake splits Tokyo into halves; however they were marvelous as they put down the exoskeleton to face any other problem with bravery including rogue robots too.

Watch them explore their adventures while impacting your life positively – this was made up from 8 mini-serieses aired between 1987 – 1991.

However these new lives are only meant as weapons of revolt through Italian society not loveable little girls anymore!

However you ever thought how would it be if a robot were to fight for us? It would certainly be exciting as now in this long forward into the future of year 2060 where Earth’s polluted state has been left behind and everyone moves on from one orbital zone to another.

However there arises a question about which country should rule them all- thus they decide that every fifty years each Gundam built by any given nation will battle against others with an ultimate victor then getting ownership over colonies and orbitals alike.

It sounds funny and intriguing. Even our protagonist is stuck in something similar -A love blossom between wars? 

Now, Lafiel Abriel and Jinto Linn are reunited. Lafiel is now the captain while Jinto works as supply officer.

The outburst of war between humankind and abh will create more problems for them with growing tension which they’ll have to deal with especially since both sides differ greatly from each other’s ways of life.

How will they work on this situation together given their difference in culture? Sekai No Senki Season 2 was released by 2000 featuring 13 episodes; all 25 minutes long .

24. Space Adventure Cobra: Best Cyberpunk Anime Film

I just hope our Cobra knows this is true when he stands in between the world and his girlfriend Jane Flower – a target of Necron lord of crime himself! The movie got premiered on July 3rd 1982.

The Earth is in danger and humankind doesn’t care. We know what’s going to happen if we don’t take action, but all we do is nothing.

It’s like an anime where the people on Moon are trying to come back here so they can capture our planet again.

Rolan Cehack has been sent out by them as a scout with this purpose in mind; he’ll report his findings later on when he gets back home safely…

This input tells about how humans have destroyed their own planet without caring less for it, despite knowing that one day someone would want to seize control of it once more which could lead towards its destruction just like before because not everyone will be kind enough or willing enough- some may even seek revenge instead!

Tenchi Masaki is a high school student with an ordinary life. One day, while doing his laundry at the shrine he lives next to, Tenchi rescues Ryoko from crashing into the ground and learns that she has been chased by pirates who were trying to take her back home – but on another planet.

After this encounter ends in disaster (due to some bad luck on both of their parts), they decide not tell anyone about it; however soon after Aeka shows up looking for him because Washu had told them where he was staying!

They go out shopping together when all of sudden Space Police show-up asking if Tenichi knows anything about Ryouko whom they are pursuing due to breaking galactic laws.

The story in the anime series Texhnolyze revolves around Ichise, who is orphaned and also a prizefighter.

He gets into an unfortunate rivalry where his opponent injures him to the extent that he loses both his left arms and legs.

A scientist takes pity on him after witnessing this incident; she provides him with mechanical limbs through texhnolyze—an evolution of technology which can enhance human body parts using machinery (Wikipedia).

The plot line may seem like another sci-fi genre but it’s not about robots or aliens rather it explores very different characters along with their feelings towards society, power struggle etc.

19. GaoGaiGar

In the anime, GaoGaiGar has to fight off a race of alien monsters that emerge from underground and are about to destroy Tokyo.

There is only one hope left for men: their last chance – GaoGaiGar. So buckle your seat belts as you watch this giant robot fight outworlders!

The alien species have completely destroyed Earth after several years of destruction.

However, Tanikaze is found in an isolated area and begins his fight alongside the humans to protect humanity from being bullied by the aliens. The anime was aired over 12 episodes with a 24-minute duration per episode

For the horror enthusiasts, we got in something for you. On his way to an archaeologic mission, Professor Daiba awakens a horrid figure from its sleep. 

Right after five years of hiatus, The Captain Herlock crew members are all set to sail through the stars once again and meet their professor friend whom they haven’t seen since then- or so it seems!

They started airing between December 21st 2002 – 12/21/2003 with 13 episodes total which have been compiled into one full show retelling on DVD called “Space Pirate Captain Harlock: A Voyage To Remember”.

The year is 2009 and the world stands on its apex, about to take a big step forward with an enormous space battleship called Macross.

But there’s another one who waits for this moment: Zantradi aliens that cause destruction everywhere they go by hovering above Earth.

The humans are finally taking down those nasty creatures as their dormant system takes over the starship named Macross and flies them through outer space towards other planets where we can prove our worthiness as humankind.

And it turns out to be important to fight off against just like our gang leader Kaneda.

He is all set to fight anyone and everyone just save his friend from illegal activities of government’s atomic bomb experiment down lane after 31 years Tetsuo most likely will act as bait for scientists unethical actions which he won’t let happen at any cost!

14. Space Cobra: Cyberpunk Anime Show

What will you do if one day you realize that your reality is not what it seems and the world around you has been altered in a way to hide something from others?

What would happen when this hidden truth becomes unburied, allowing true memories of who we are to resurface. 

Johnson wakes up as he hears his alarm clock with an arm replaced by a powerful gun called Psychogun which shows off powers no human should have.

He reunites himself with the past: his spaceship and partner named Armaroid Lady but realizes after gaining these abilities, they must track down some of most dangerous weapons through prisons or museums for greater power.

He will be catching them and giving them away for some reward but there’s also romance, adventure zombies whatnot in between that might distract you from seeing what he has to offer!

7. Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann Movie 2: Lagann-Hen

Team Gurren fought back though; as per Simon’s dead brother Kittan Bachika ‘s wish, everyone would be under Simon’s wings and they’d throw out Spiral King once and for all!

Anime Psycho-Pass uses a new technology that can access one’s mind to check whether his will is good or ill-natured.

If it detects any bad intentions, the person is investigated and stopped from committing crimes.

However, this system isn’t perfect as shown by Akane Tsunemori who investigates errors in the Sibyl System – an advanced version of psycho pass which premiered between October 2012 and March 2013

Similarly according to Casshern, he did not kill Luna but he’s still considered a convict who the hell is Casshern let me tell you cassadher was an orphan with no memory of his past life events or even his identity yet every day bulky robots chase him and want him dead for reasons unknown it all comes down to luna!

3. One-Punch Man: Best Cyberpunk Anime On Netflix

The anime first got released in 2015 and is a very unique superhero anime with a plot that separates it from other similar titles out there.

Its story revolves around Saitama who transforms into a superhuman after practicing boxing as nothing serious, but soon gets so powerful he can kill the enemy with just one punch!

2. Cowboy Bebop

In the year 2071, four bounty hunters set out to Mars in search of terrorist Vincent.

The team is made up of Spike Spiegel, Jet Black, Faye Valentine and Edward; all with their own unique abilities that work well together as a group.

Now they must find officer Vincent who threatens to destroy Alba City using nano-bots if his demands are not met.

We’ve finally made it to the first position on the list, let’s see what we got here. The new leaders are Reinhard von Lohengramm and Yang Wenli!

Upon being declared as head of state for both sides, they have been tasked with bringing peace between their two empires by any means necessary – which also includes putting humanity under a certain rule of a modest and genuine King.

However, since Yang is more attached to his beliefs in democracy than anything else- he stands in between this peaceful resolution that all parties wish so dearly for.
